I studied Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University qualifying in 1996. Following qualification I gained a training scholarship at the Royal Veterinary College for a year and then worked around the United Kingdom in both small animal and mixed animal practices. After a short spell setting a practice up in Abu Dhabi, I then managed a practice in north east London for 3 years. I set up Masefield Vets in 2003 after moving to the area to be with my family. My main areas of interest are small animal surgery and diagnostic imaging.
I qualified from Edinburgh University in 1991 then worked for a time in mixed practice in Scotland. I subsequently spent a year at the University of Bristol as a resident in the Small Animal Medicine department. Following this I returned to Private practice in 1997 and gained a certificate in Small Animal Medicine the following year.
I have worked in several practices, mostly small animal over the last 20 years and gained a lot of experience in many areas. My main area of interest is internal medicine though I enjoy all aspects of my work.
I began my career in Veterinary practice in 1987, nursing in various practices throughout the country for 16 years. I joined Masefield at its opening in October 2003 and continued nursing until becoming Practice Manager in 2009. I am a keen motorcyclist and I enjoy riding and racing bikes with my husband. I also enjoy fitness training and I am a member of Malvern Spa. I currently have two tabby cats although my main passion is Greyhounds and Lurchers, having owned two until they were 14 and 15 years old, I hope it won’t be long before I own one or two again!!
I joined the practice in October 2011 as a work experience pupil and after completing my Animal Nursing Assistant qualification in June 2012, I started working full time at Masefield the following July. Following this I completed a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Pershore College. My main interest at work is new and complex cases. I have four horses, seven chickens and two dogs called Seth and Lola. In my spare time I compete in British Eventing competitions around the country on my horses. I also enjoy visiting different countries, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
Originally from Northumberland, I moved to Shropshire to attend Harper Adams University gaining a degree in veterinary nursing and practice management. I then moved down to Gloucestershire to live with my partner Dan, on a farm. I joined the practice in July 2015 and enjoy taking on new cases which come in. I have a Collie X Kelpi called Lexi and a Labrador called Inca. I am a keen member of the Young Farmers Association and enjoy riding around the countryside on horses. My hobbies include helping my partner on the farm with the cattle and visiting my friends around the country.
I grew up in Herefordshire and my lifelong dream has been to become a veterinary nurse. I volunteered at the local veterinary practice for three years gaining valuable experience. I started working at Masefield in September 2013 and attended Abbeydale Vetlink in 2014. I completed the Veterinary Nursing Diploma at the start of 2017. I have a Jack Russell Terrier called Barney who I walk in Queenswood Countrypark with my partner Jack and his dog Toby. I also have a hamster called Archibald and three guinea pigs called Betsy, Mable and Dory. My hobbies are arts and crafts and baking, which I do most weekends.
I started working at Masefield in April 2013, I am originally from Malvern and went to Hartpury College in Gloucestershire and studied a National Diploma in Animal Management. I then went on to attend The University of West England achieving a degree in Veterinary Health. I have a lovely family including two cats called Chester and Buster and a yellow Labrador called Jack. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my friends and their families.
I grew up in the countryside and attended The Chase High School before progressing to becoming a qualified nursery nurse and swimming teacher. After starting my own family and having my lovely son James I decided on a career change to benefit my family and spend more time with my son. I began working here at Masefield Vets in January 2015. In my spare time I take pleasure in visiting friends and going on country walks to the local farm. I enjoy all aspects of my job including welcoming our clients and pets as they enter the practice.
