COVID-19 Practice Procedure update

Please find below information about how the Practice is running during this unprecedented time.

Appointments

We are currently not doing any routine appointments to minimise the amount of face to face contact for our staff. All routine vaccinations and neutering are not being done at this time. (Please note that we ARE still doing new puppy/kitten/rabbit vaccinations).

In the event that your’ pet needs to be seen by the vet in the Practice we have the following procedures in place:

On arrival at the practice please call reception from the car park to let us know you have arrived. You will be booked in and when they are ready to see you the vet will come out to the car park to see you.

After a discussion regarding your pet, the vet will take your pet from you (following safe distancing measures) and bring them into the practice for examination. Once done they will come back out to you with any relevant medication and discuss their findings.

Ordering & Collection of medications including flea/wormer.

When ordering your repeat medication you will be able to come and collect the medicine or alternatively it can be posted out to you. There will be a postage charge of £6.21 as all medicines have to be posted Special delivery.

Collection

If you can call us from the car park a team member will bring the prescription out to you and hand it over practicing safe distancing at all times.

Payment can be made over the telephone or by BACS (53-50-40   55447627). If paying by BACS please use your surname & pet name as reference ( & client ID if known).

Whilst we appreciate this is not ideal we have to put measures in place to protect our workforce and other members of the public.
